I hope this Holiday Season finds you optimistic and ready to greet the New Year in whatever tradition awakens your spiritual nature. I am attaching an announcement concerning lectures by my friend Michael Lutin, the Vanity Fair Astrologer. He is very entertaining, as those of you who have heard him before already know. He has created aromatherapy products which stimulate the chakras, and has a variety of products which help with depression and sleep disorders. They smell terrific too. WINTER SOLSTICE RITUAL: As many of you know, I hold an annual ritual for the celebration of the winter solstice at my house in the evening of December 21. It begins at 7 PM. Each person brings a food or beverage item to share with the group and creates a personal ritual of release and invitation to share as well. The charge for this is $25 which includes telephone time with me to help create your ritual.

If you are considering this powerful catalyst for change, please let me know so I can help you plan with intention. The year 2006 has been an 8 year for the planet, a year of endings and beginnings. Next year, 2007, is a 9 year for the planet, a year of completion and realization. For centuries the Winter Solstice has been celebrated as a time of new beginnings, as the shortest day of the year gives way to the longest night. Fires were burned all night to symbolize the return of the Sun. Ask yourself the following questions: what do I need to release, what have I learned this year, what do I want to create, and what is my unmet need? When you have some prayerful answers, it will be time to create a symbolic expression of your answer so you experience it on an organic level.
